Residential Real Estate
Real Estate Agents
You work hard every day to earn your good reputation in the industry. We honor and do all we can to enhance that.
Weissman has an unparalleled expertise with the legal issues that impact real estate agents and brokers, and many of our attorneys spend their professional careers focused on nothing else. The firm is experienced in all areas of real estate law with multiple resources for problem solving.
Contracts
Do you ever have questions about contracts? As General Counsel for the Georgia REALTORS® (GAR), Seth Weissman assists in drafting the GAR residential and commercial real estate contract forms used by GAR. As conditions and laws change, our firm helps ensure that contracts remain up to date and ensure a successful closing for all parties. As a result of our expertise in drafting contracts used in thousands of transactions in the past 30 years, no one knows contract law better.
Brokerage Counseling
We counsel agents and brokers on reducing liability and how to anticipate potential problems and avoid disputes. We represent agents and brokers before the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) and routinely handle brokerage and property manager relationships, commission disputes, and agency matters. No one knows the laws better -- we drafted the revised Brokerage Relationships In Real Estate Transactions Act (BRRETA) and interpret state statutes and GREC rules that impact real estate agents every day.
We are leaders in educating the real estate community and keeping our clients abreast of developments that impact their work. Our attorneys teach continuing education courses and write books, eblasts and other resources specific to the needs of real estate agents.

Weissman attorneys provide legal guidance through leading industry publications as well as our own publications.
