Susan Quinn concentrates her practice on residential and commercial real estate contract negotiation representing buyers, sellers and lenders in commercial and residential refinance and purchase transactions. She also assists with the preparation and review of real estate documents including leases, contracts and purchase/asset agreements for local and international investors. Focused on customer service, Susan works with her clients to ensure a smooth closing from start to finish.
Prior to joining the Firm, Susan spent over 10 years in New York gaining a deep understanding of real estate transactions. As Vice President and Corporate/Underwriting Counsel for Closing USA (formerly LandAmerica Transnation) she managed the production of title reports and policies and establishment of underwriting and escrow compliance guidelines nationwide. She worked with numerous lenders to establish lender specific requirements for scheduling, closing and funding and negotiated with attorneys, customers, and lenders for mutually acceptable terms. In private practice for 10 years Susan worked with many international investors on both residential and commercial purchases and sales as well as commercial and private funding transactions. She regularly spoke at investor seminars with regard to the challenges and benefits of real estate ownership for investors and participated in seminars sponsored by the Rochester Housing Council designed for landlords.
Susan also works with International Exchange Student Organizations to host high school students for the academic year and she and her family have hosted students from various countries and enjoy the cultural opportunities provided by this experience.
