Monica Forsland is an attorney in the firm’s residential real estate practice. A seasoned attorney, she brings a wealth of experience working with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders and investors on real estate transactions. She understands the complex nuances of solving title problems and has a keen understanding of negotiation and the closing process. Monica places a strong emphasis on client service ensuring each party to the transaction enjoys a smooth closing experience.
Prior to joining Weissman PC, she spent over 10 years litigating real property matters throughout Georgia. She also advised agents, investors and individuals on potential courses of action in connection with real estate transactions.
Monica is a member of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association. She volunteers with Historic Oakland Foundation, an organization committed to preserve, restore, enhance, share Atlanta’s oldest Cemetery and park; The Team Project, a program designed to inspire and encourage teen moms to create a foundation for their life based on integrity, commitment and empowerment; and, Landmark Worldwide, a global organization committed to making a difference in people’s lives. In her spare time Monica enjoys the culture of Atlanta through musicals, plays, concerts, dance, and museums.
