Josh Adams, an attorney in the firm’s litigation practice, focuses his practice on representing taxing authorities in conducting judicial in rem ad valorem tax foreclosures and managing excess funds arising from non-judicial tax sales. Josh also represents individual clients in matters that arise after non-judicial tax sales such as barring the right of redemption, quiet title actions, and making claims for excess funds.
Prior to joining Weissman, Josh worked for several years at a delinquent tax collection company assisting cities and counties across Georgia in collecting delinquent ad valorem property taxes and conducting non-judicial tax sales. He also served for ten years in the United States Navy as a cryptologist and instructor.
He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is licensed to practice in all Georgia courts.
